James Ingalsbe commented on the group MultiTerm Special Interest Group's wall:Hi Rocio, no.. we haven't had a report of MultiTerm problems... but we haven't really been looking closely at it anyway. Did you get word of it being resolved?

Rocio Haskell commented on the group MultiTerm Special Interest Group's wall:Our termbase in MultiTerm just disappeared. Anybody else having issues with MultiTerm? SDL hosts our MultiTerm and TMS. Rocio (Wells Fargo)

Pascal Kesselmark commented on the group MultiTerm Special Interest Group's wall:@ Adam: I know a performance issue with online MT 2007 from the installation at my former employer. As far as I know, the only remedy SDL can offer is MT 2009. This is why I - at my actual employe - only send offline packages to the translators.

Pascal Kesselmark commented on the group MultiTerm Special Interest Group's wall:Yes! ErrorSpy does the job very vell. I also think the SDL tools are a bit week in QA checks. See http://www.dog-gmbh.com/index.php?id=44&L=1

Mike Holland commented on the group MultiTerm Special Interest Group's wall:By the way, does anyone know of any software that uses a Multiterm termbase to do a term QA check of a translation (ttx or itd document)? It seems like the SDLX QA checker results have too many false positives to be useful. Mike

Mike Holland commented on the group MultiTerm Special Interest Group's wall:I sent you the names of a couple of SDL engineers that helped us with our Multiterm trouble. They seemed pretty competent. (We have the software installed here at the company.) Let me know if you'd like me to send again. Mike

by Rocio Haskell 2 years agowe aren't seeing anything different than usual with MultiTerm. Does your multiterm sit on a different server than ours (at Wells) even though we are also hosted.... maybe it's a particular issue to your server... Good to speak with you yesterday at the conference. Rocio

by Adam Houser 2 years agoOur MultiTerm Server 2007, currently hosted with SDL, has been unresponsive for nearly a month now. When trying to connect via SDLX or online we simple watch the progress bar on the browser slug alone until I decide to terminate my effort. SDL support has yet to find a resolution. Is anyone else suffering from this same issue?
